This week DePauw will be blessed with yet another music performance by globally known musicians. Husband-wife duo, violinist Haroutune Bedelian and pianist Lorna Griffit will be in town. Wednesday night they will be performing at seven-thirty in Thompson Recital Hall in DePauw’s Green Center for Performing Arts. The event is free and will include pieces from Debussy, Beethoven, and Robert Schumann.
The duo will also be offering classes for any students who are interested Tuesday night. Griffit, who is also a DePauw alum faculty member, began her teaching career in 1974, but has since moved on to other schools. Bedelian is a graduate of the Royal Academy of Musician in London and has received many recognitions for his work. This is just one of the many events hosted yearly by the school of music.
